Sound like a good deal?
Im not sure how the car runs, I have yet to talk to the guy selling it, but I found a Black 87 IROC Z 350 for sale. The price in the window is $1000, but I bet i can talk it down to $700 (its been for sale for over a year). The engine has about 90,000 miles on it. I want to buy it, and do a complete engine swap. Like I said before, I havent yet talked to the guy selling it, but I have been thinking about it, and does this sound like a good deal?

Its impossible to tell you if its a good deal if we don't know how well the car runs or what kind of work it needs..
I paid $2000 for my '88 Trans Am WS6 (which was a bonus...didn't realize it was WS6 til after I bought it) with 78k original miles on it and bald tires. After a full tune-up, new tires, a centerlink, idler arm, outer tie rod end, and ball joint, it runs beautifully. Oh and btw, its only the 305TPI with automatic and 2.73 posi drum rear with T-tops. Oh, and the paint is faded. Nevertheless, you can't beat the fact that they drove about 4 hours to my doorstep with it

Try to take PICs of the car! And then post up here. Its just like when you purchase a used car and ppl bring it to there local mechanic shops so they check on it. Instead we can be the mechanics and Judges. Take pics of the Interior, Body, Under the hood, Under the car...... Atleast so we can get an idea.... But will have no clue how it run tho, unless were ther... So try to post som pics up for a opinons
