TPI to Carb. Help me, Im young.
My Iroc was totalled..thanks to police officers speeding..anyway.
I have a L98 sitting under the hood. I plan on building a new Camaro..I just dont want to fool with the TPI anymore.
Here are my ?'s.
1. What all do I have to do when I switch to a carb?
2. Will it breathe better in the top end w\o the TPI unit on it?
3. Will there be any noticable hp gain when switched to card..lets say 600cfm.
Thanks abunch in advance!

Read that . It's a pretty good article. If you have any particular questions after that, feel free to post here and we'll see what we can do to help you out. Best of luck and sorry to hear about the car getting totalled. Planning any legal action or whatnot?

I'm kinda interested in that story as well...
Anyways, yes, the car should breathe much better in the upper RPMs without the restrictive LTR setup on it..

I'll gladly swap carb parts for your TPI setup. I have a carb, distributor, factory intake, wiring etc. I need pretty much everything otherwise.
