LT1 Intake

I have a 305 tpi thatis quite quckly turning into a road oiling fix or repair daily car. I have arranged to pick up a 350 block in 2 weekends from my friend. Out of a 95 truck, its in his 89 tbi tfruck currently. I already have a lt1 intake and want to use his serpentine set-up. It is the same as the 92 serpentine set-up except for the idler, which I can get the right one. My question is, I have heard problems with fitting the intake with the idler on both set-ups. Is this truth or myth?

The only problem I had was clearance issues with the TPS and IAC connectors. 5 minutes with the Dremel solved that issue.
