Who's done a MAP to MAF Conversion?
Okay guys,
Help us out here. We have a board member who is putting a MAP Corvette L98 (ALuminium heads) into a MAF car (88 IROC). The IROC has all the MAF wiring so we were thinking of just putting the MAF intake on top of the L98.
The problems are:
1. The bolt holes do not line up correctly and
2. The angle where the MAF intake set-up meets the cylinder head appears to not line up correctly (sort of like what you would see after shaving a set of cylinder heads.
Problem 1 is easy to fix. Just have to redrill the bolt holes. Problem 2 is not as simple. Anyone run into this?
