need help bad, out of ideas
yesterday, my car started idleing bad/rough. bad hesitation from idle, erratic/low vacuum reading, loss of power throughout rpm range, shakes real bad. filled up gas tank with 93 octane when the tank was about 1/3 full. symptoms started about 30 miles afer fill-up. does it when hot or cold. vacuum reservoir sucked air in after i pulled a hose off to make sure it was tight. the idle acts like it wants to die/stall. no high idle. checked plugwires/distributor cap/rotor and they all look good. fuel pressure is at 40psi, and timing is good at 6 dgrees btdc.
could this be from bad gas or a fouled plug? ignition control module? ignition coil?
please help.

Yes that would suck . There is other stuff maybe . When you get it running , is there any black smoke ? This would suggest a spark issue. Any SES codes ? Did you change the constant in the prom to show the injector change ...it would be bad if you didn't .

it starts fine. the problem occursa after it starts. the injectors were replaced with ones of the same size. there is smoke on start up but it looks more like grey.

i had the same kinda thing happen to me last week, put my car on a lift in auto shop installed a wonderbar and when i went to restart my car it wouldnt hold an idle and seemed almost like it was getting enough fuel. when i revved the motor it would rev to like 2500 before it felt like the engine was making any power and was making a backfiring noise out my intake. checked everything and i mean everything with my auto teacher and it wasnt throwing any codes. The idea to disconnect my maf just popped in my brain, did it, and my cars back to idling at 700. Ive had my maf disconnected for a week now and the car runs fine, even ran it at a local track multiple times and was running consistent 14.55-14.7.
oh and the only way i could get my car to hold an idle was with my teacher spraying propane in the brake booster i believe
