Car: Formula, a big red brick.
Engine: A Ford 351 Windsor... ?
Transmission: Dodge 727
Upgrading can mean a lot of things - what are you looking to do with the car? Do you want a lot of idle - 4500RPM power? Are you looking for 1500-5500RPM power - or are you looking to even spin higher? Do you plan on using a supercharger at any point in time in the future? Have you considered any suspension/chasis mods?
You need to define your goals before anyone can start trying to get you going in the right direction. There's an infinate number of cams for the SBC, and there's MANY TPI-like intake combinations out there. Why don't you give us a better idea of your goals and I can promise you that there is everyone here would help you along that path.

Intake - Superram
Cam - LPE Superram Cam
Heads - Trickflow (Spring upgrade) / 1.6 Rockers
Exhaust - SLP headers, high flow cat, Mufflex 3.5 or 4 inch (some will disagree but 3 inches has shown to be "Just enough" for a v6 - so use common sense.)
Trans - 3200 RPM Stall Converter/Shift kit or rebuild+kit.
Rear - 3.43 rear gears, 3.73 would be a fine option as well but not needed.
Suspension - Lower control arm relocation, tubular LCA's, adjustable torque arm, tubular panhard bar.
Chasis - Subframe connectors, strut tower brace.
-AND OF COURSE-
Prom burning equipment and a wideband O2 sensor.
If I was in your position that is what I would build - and it would be a quick good running car. It's actually one of the combinations that LPE designed the superram around, minus the heads & exhaust (they used of course, their house brand heads). It should produce peak torque numbers around 4400-4600 RPM and peak HP numbers in the 5600-5800 RPM area. It'd give that combination a good 12 second potential with a proper tune, a lot of fun around town, and 20+ MPG highway with 3.43's.
For reference when I catch all sorts of flames and a bad wrap for suggesting at minimum a 3.5 inch exhaust and most favorably a 4 inch unit, here is the thread where the 3 inch on the V6 INCREASED torque everywhere low and high - and provided enough space to nearly equal an exhaust cutout - which I would think it is goal of any exhaust (allow for the most power). Too say a similar exhaust would suffice on a much larger engine, moving much more air I simply find rediculous. I even find 3.5 to be a bit laughable. Sure, people have gone fast with small exhausts, but does that mean that the exhaust used was the best avaliable? NO! It just meant that the engine was still able to produce enough power to overcome the disadvantage of a smaller than ideal exhaust.
