Bad ignition coil, which new 1 should i get

Hey guys i believe i have just perhaps finally found my problem, i have been chasing my tail for 2 weeks trying to figure out what went wrong with my car after i did the ford injector swap, as said in my previous posts with my trouble codes and leaks. i was advised by my tech to try a few things, first he told me to just try and put the old 20 year old gm injectors back in to just see if that fixes anything, it didnt. so i put the old injectors back in for nothing i guess. he also said to rule its its the ecu to take the 1 from my Iroc and put it in the gta so i did that and still no help. the current situation now is it just cranks cranks and ccranks and this is with the gm injectors in. I do want to put my ford ones back in since they do hold my fuel pressure nicely and the fixed my problems with my car loosing fuel pressure. I checked my hanes repain manual and checked for symptoms for this issue. From what i can see my ignition coil is my problem, did some tests to it to check it out and it failed on 2 of the 3 tests. said to check primary and secondary coil resistance and check for open circuit to ground, the primary test was good. the secondary was low and the open circut was low when the book said both sould have high voltage. So i guess its my coil, what sould i replace it with a stock unit or go with an aftermaket brand. i do have slightly bigger wires on my car and only performance mod is headers and a very trick and tucked in dual exhaust that i had done. which coil would be best. i know i wrote a lot but thanks to everyone who replyed to my previous posts you were all a good help thanks

stock one would probably be fine, however for a little more dough you could get a Jacobs Electronics ultra coil. these (according to manufacturer) put out higher spark intensity. after i put my headers on i had alot of exhaust popping and what not, i put this on (replacing a stock unit from 88 that still worked just fine) and it all went away and the car ran much smoother. now, this replaced the ORIGINAL coil, after 19 years i know it was not as good as new, but still.

in addition to that they last forever. one guy in my car club has one he has been using for over 10 years.

If your choices were stock or Accel I would always go with stock. Accell ignition components are unreliable at best. Go with either and msd coil or possible the jacobs electronics. I am sure you can get many people to attest to the poor quality of electronic components from Accel.

Can I get a witness? Amen, shocker. I don't mean to slam accel, but the only thing they've made that I bought that worked for any length of time were the plug wires. That's it. Can't go wrong with the Jacobs, but I've had no probs with my stock OEM replacement.

Funny my friend bought a set of 8.8 accel wires from the local O'reilys and after a week or so his car was running like crap. We tested the wires and sure enought two were completely dead wires. The ohm resistance on the others were in the 3-600 range as well. On the other hand the msd wires her replaced them with didn't messure more than 60 ohms on even the longest wires.
