buying a used TPI.. ?'s within
so i have a nice shiney(somewhat new) edelbrock 650cfm carb on my 350 right now, and am thinking of getting a TPI out of a junkyard down the road.. the guy quoted me 375$ a few months ago... so i think i can squeeze it out of him for a little less. he has 3 camaros at the place, and they all look(the TPI's) to be in fairly good shape... my question is that if i were to get one of them, what are the chances that the sensors would be in decent shape(mainly the MAF) and the injectors would be decent. i know the cars are all 350's, so i wouldnt have to worry about getting injectors that are too small.. but could they get gummed up from sitting so long?i know new ones arent cheap. also, i've heard (from other past posts) that a new wiring harness would be in order. i havent worked w/computers before(in cars, and this is my excuse for asking a dumb question), is there anything else got messed up from sitting there for, i'm guessing its been there over a year now, but the car has a hood so it isnt in the direct rain. anyways, what do you guys think? ever since i got in an 89 IROC and revved it a bit, i cant forget how awesome the throttle response was. so if i get the setup for , say, 350, and a wiring harness for 200$ something, would it be worth it? what should i look out for when buying and taking off car?

When you are getting all the parts, bve sure to get all the sensors, distributor, intake, fuel rails, runners, plenum, throttle body, air intake, computer, and wiring harness. Even if you don't plan on using the original wiring harness, you may need it to get the new one.
