Does this seem right??

I was surprised a few weeks ago when my car went a 13.98 @ 100mph on a g-tech.

Look at the sig for mods. In addition, I have every possible option you could get on the car. I took the spare/jack out (for other reasons).
Also I weigh close to 300 #'s and that should slow it down some too.

What do you guys think? Should I be going faster?

Car: 83 Z28
Engine: 406
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 9" with 4.10s
Breaking into the 13 sound pretty good for all that you have done, esp since you did not alter the cam or heads. You would probalbly see a lot better times with a steeper gear, esp since you got that converter. The car would really spool up fast and launch hard with a 3.73 or 4.10. Just have to remember that the mpg goes down as the gear gets steeper.

As comparison, my bird is only running low 15's.
