Which heads for L98 with intake/ZZ4 cam/exhaust
I am looking at the Edelbrock 6085's and TFS 23° centerbolt heads, the AFR's just seem a little high to me. The rest of the combo is a stock L98 rotating assembly, Accel base/runners (long tube setup), stock ported plenum, ZZ4 cam with 1.6 rollers (208º/221º-.506"/.544"), 52mm TB, SLP 1.75" header w/o AIR and a pretty free flowing exhaust. Which heads would work the best and why? I like the Edelbrock's because of the smaller 60cc chambers, but don't know how well they flow.

TF 23* heads might be a good choice at a pretty decent price. Maybe a set of Iron Eagles with some port work also.
I had kind of been following what you were doing with the L98 formula since that is what I have, just curious on why you got rid of the vette heads ? They certainly "could" have worked well with your set-up.

Cool, what combo are you running? I decided not to use the GM heads mainly because of the EGR issue (or lack of). I want to pass emmissions, the only smog device thats going is the AIR pump/lines and the cat is being replaced with a high flow unit I considered the Iron Eagles but I would like to stay with aluminum heads for the weight savings and better heat scavenging from the chambers.
