Hi i have a set of the SLP runners and i've heard about people porting them, Like do you guys get them extrude honed or one guy said he totally knocked the walls out? Is it actually worth doing? Are there substantial gains. Also i've seen some knock the walls of the plenum out like they are on the runners, is that helpfull also? Thanks

Well tell u what i have a nearly stock TPI 350 FOrmie 91 vintage,,,,, with the excpetion of my catback, MSD and AFPR(set to stock) for now i ran a string of 14.50's in the qrtr all within 1mph of 94 mph...
This past weekend i installed my ported SLP runners mine now look like a figure 8 on its side....I increased the siamesed portion about 1 .25 to 1.5 inches in with a top to bottom height of about 3/4 inch..i ported this out and as well as polished about as far as i could humanly reach into the ports of the runners on both the top and the bottom...didnt siameses the bottom of course inly deepened and widened them at the top:-)

Since this weekend i have not gotten to the track yet , but the car seems to pull better in the upper rpm range ....and i havent gotten any air/fuel readings in high gear yet either...i will try to hut the traxk this weekend or next and let u know what improv they made
