Fuel injector connections

Car: 1989 IROC
Engine: 5.7
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 2:77
Fuel injector connections
The person that I bought my project car from (1989 iroc tpi 5.7) was in the process of replacing the fuel injector connections but he never completed the job. He cut all the old ones off and now I need to solder the new ones in place, my question is does it matter what wire goes to either side of the connector.
