HELP! Idle, stalling....

305 TPI with 700r4. In the morning, starts right up. I drive the 30 minutes to work, and it dies right before I get there, but only at a complete stop normally. Idle is at 500. Will take a few minutes to get it up and running again. Already replaced the coil. When it doesnt start, it cranks, but never lights. Also, theres a white wire coming out of the engine harness into a gray plug on the coil. The diagram says its something for gauges, but it was grounding against the valve cover, causing the motor to die. Ive since replaced that, but am still having random stall issues. When it dies, its almost like somone turned the key off. This is my work car, so I need it up and running ASAP. ANy help would be appreciated.

Re: HELP! Idle, stalling....

have you checked youre injectors ? If not measure them, they should end up around ~14 to 16ohms. If they are under 12 they are toast.

Have you checked the timing ? hows youre sparkplugs ? wires ? Grounds are good ?

Re: HELP! Idle, stalling....

Cool to hear you got the problem figured out, thats what i was gonna suggest. You did get a quality module, right? They are notorious for failure, may want to get a backup, lol.

Re: HELP! Idle, stalling....

Could advancing your timing too much, cause this to happen?

Re: HELP! Idle, stalling....

what up dean. man i like success stories, kinda like one being married. but my marriage with my car is just crazy. Her Name is LENNET. She likes it when i go fast, and loves it when i dump 93 octane fuel in her. BUt shes not working. I had a question for Kcallais. did you test your module b4 replace or just a simple hunch swap
