Can I plug the Outlet for the heater hose on the front of the manifold

Can I just plug the coolant outlet on the front of the manifold (not the one on the bottom of the throttle body). I am not using a heater and would like to just plug that outlet. But I am worried that may disrupt the proper flow of coolant.

Any help would be appriecated

If you're talking about the 1 that the heater hose connects to, then YES.
When the heater control valve is shut off, then there is no coolant flow there anyway.

The only other thing to look at is the radiator. My car has a heater hose going to the radiator, so after you plug the engine, you may have to plug the Rad. When I replaced mine a few years back, it had a rubber plug with a hose clamp holding it on. You can find one at a good hardware store or a radiator shop.....if they are still around. Other than that, you'll have no problems. Her's a pic of the plug and where the rubber cap goes...just need's a clamp.
