Code 34 – Car won’t start with out MAF unplugged

Car: 1988 Iroc

Engine: 5.7L

Transmission: '96 T56, Hurst Shifter, Mech VSS

Axle/Gears: 3.45 9 Bolt

Code 34 – Car won’t start with out MAF unplugged

I pulled into a gas station, and the car was running perfect. After filling up with 13 gallons of 93 Oct, I went to start the car and it would crank just like normal, catch and then die about 1 second later. Started it again, this time flooring the gas pedal, and it did the same thing, didn’t rev up or any thing due to my foot on the gas (was like my gas pedal was unhooked, it did NOTHING) After being pushed into a parking space I started to play with it. I unplugged the batt. for a sec, and then it fired and ran well. Went to start on my way home, was idling on the hill leaving the gas station and it died. It then set a code 34. After a bit more playing, I pulled the wire to the MAF and was able to limp it home.
What does it sound like is shot? Is my MAF shot? Burn off relay? Power relay? TPS? IAC?
About 700 miles ago, I got a SLIGHTLY used MAF with the screens removed, and replaced the burn off and power relays. For those 700 miles it ran great.
I also since then have gone to 6E and unplugged the 9th injector.
