puzzled and needing help.

car is a 88 gta with l98.First tpi car i ve ever had and i m still kind of new to fuel injection.Working on my camaro's tbi i have learned a few things.anyways..

It had sat for a few years when i bought it. I drove it home and all was fine. Started freshening up the interior.Moved it in and out of garage every day for a few weeks no problem.Drove it to an atm one night and the egr valve got stuck open.Took forever to get it to start when it died yada yada. Got it home tore the plenum off and cleaned up the egr .Didn't stick and held vacuum.Put it all back together.Started up and idled fine went to drive around block the egr stuck open again.Tore everything off again (stripping a torx bolt in the process)and tested the solenoid.Bad egr solenoid.Got a similiar one from a carbed 305 at a junkyard yesterday.Only thing different was which side the wires plugged into.Put it all back together(minus the one bolt i had to grind out).Won't start. Got pissed off and disconnected the vacuum hoses to the egr solenoid.Won't start. Super pissed now.Went out and bought a can of ether and sprayed into air box.It starts and runs until the ether burns off.If i prop the throttle open after spraying the ether it idles between 800-1000 real rough and pops and backfires really loud ~every 4 seconds eventually(longest i ve had it "idling" was about 2 minutes) randomly dying with a REALLY loud backfire.once it gets above 2k it seems alright no pops or backfires. I ve had it hooked up to my laptop/winaldl and the only thing that comes up is the rich flag.

I need some guidance here.Are my injectors leaking? Do i need to try to datalog what i can and have someone look at it?Am i overlooking something?

started messing with it again. Wouldnt start.sprayed some ether and now it idles on its own at ~725-825.no major backfires just the minor one every 4 seconds.Its backfiring on the passenger side.
egr valve vacuum disconnected.

winaldl is showing rich flag again and now error 34 .(i have the air tubing off atm)

I v got a leaking injector don't i?

unhooked battery to clear codes. unhooked maf sensor and cleaned it and the connector + plugin with electrical cleaner.hooked battery back up.fired right up(no ether) and idled at ~725 roughly like it has a vacuum leak(hmm could it be that egr vacuum line thats not hooked up? lol)no backfiring at all and it idled for about 10 minutes.Got in the car and put it in gear and it didn't die like i was expecting it to.put it back in park and rev'd it up let off and it died after it started coming back down from 2000 rpms.This is running rich bad...my eyes are watering from the exhaust fumes in my garage.Feel like i got a gas buzz .
