Fuel Pump Install Question
Installing the new fuel pump in the pickup assembly for a 92z L98 and ran into a little dilemma. The stock setup had this thing connecting the pickup tube to the fuel pump, and was wondering if I should re-use it or use the supplied rubber hose instead. Fuel pump kit is from Racetronix, and I emailed them aswell.

Re: Fuel Pump Install Question
I believe that it's called a pulsator. It's a rubberized chamber that I believe is there to absorb shock waves created by the injectors opening and closing in a batch. Last time I changed my pump I didn't put it in, next time I think I will just to see if it stops the fuel pressure gauge needle from vibrating like it does.

Re: Fuel Pump Install Question
throw that out and use the hose, pulsators start to leak eventually and are useless
