fuel pump and baffled tanks
My fuel pump is going so I will drop a walbro 255 in. Also I'm noticing my car is turning into a 1le camaro. I have ls1 brake swap up front, 350 +5 more cubes, 9 bolt 327, 1le aluminum drive shaft, ac delete box, suspension upgrade. So where can I get this baffled tank, I do starve mine and I think that's y my pump went out in 2 years. Can I use a lt1 tank. I have a steel ls1 tank. I know the ls1 tank need some modding to the fuel lines not sure about the lt1s. I read about 90-92 had baffled tanks but a guy said he had 2 and neither had them. So who has them

Re: fuel pump and baffled tanks
Well my pump was good but found some things. My fuel tank looks baffled have a vid on YouTube. Also I took the sending unit out the 98 ss camaro and the inside of the tank look just the same but the 98 sits further in the tank where the baffled part is. Should I post the pics and vid or no one cares.

Re: fuel pump and baffled tanks
That tank in your video didn't look to be baffled. Would need to get a better view of the bottom area where the fuel pump resides.
The steel frames in the tank are there to provide for a rigid tank. Note that they are in the areas where the retaining straps are.
