Fuel sender recommendations?

Since having the front end jacked up for a week while replacing and upgrading the ignition system the fuel gauge will not leave full so it looks like I am heading down the road of checking/replacing the sender.
Rockauto has a Spectra sender for 113 and the ACDelco for 150 more. I've never used anything from Spectra - anybody had decent results with this?

spectra brand is not a very good one. lots of cheaply made products. I would advise you to avoid them.
