new fan switch different than old one?

like the title says. its the one in passenger head. ordered fan switch from auto. looks different and I cant plug into it cause it isn't the same. I can see where someone has changed plug before.

It uses a knock sensor style plug.

Several of the oldschool aftermarket lower temp fan switches came with a different pigtail.
