why do we doubt our kill stories?

why do people always say that an old l98 could never take newer cars, for example the 2001 GT? we have major torque in our L98,s and sure at the track the GT will win, but cummon how many street races are 1/4 of a mile long or longer? on average my street races are short.
about 70% of my races are 1/8 of a mile or shorter. and about 20% 1/8 to 1/4 of a mile long, and about 10% of my races last more than a quarter of a mile.

so far while racing since I got my car last summer I am 14-1 lossing only once to a 5.0 litter when i got to excited because his car looked and sounded mean, I spun the tires like crazzy and about 80 feet down the road i blew by him but i think he thought he had already won, but he liked my smoke show.

my point is while street racing, our cars are very hard to beat from light to light because of our huge torque advantage over most cars, with good sticky tires, there are not many stock cars that have a better launch than we do.

even porches and stuff have no chance against us for the first 60 feet.

I agree to a point, but dont get to c0cky or you'll be 1-14 instead of 14-1

Yes they make torque, yes street races are light to light...

But even in light to light races TPI has ran out of breath on me, its pretty chitty when you've pulled someone all the way to the end and just before the race is over they blow by you and are still accelerating.

thats why a good cold air induction, is important, it may not add alot of power on say the dyno but you can really notice the difference when your car breathes better through all the gears, from 2000-5500 RPM

Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator

You can even make your own, I did.

It allows for raising the PSI for better atomizaiton

stock L98 will beat for example few years newer BMW M5, is that something?

from the real life i can just confirm that three-point-o 911 (european version have 24hp more than smoked one) can't beat L98. even when wheel is not hopping or clutch sliding in 911, it still can't beat our L98. for us it's easy. just put your gear on D and join the ride. you'll be winner. no matter how many are riding with you.
