oil for an 85 T-5?
hi guys, i think they started changing oil types in 1985, cause i've found a T-5 p/n1352-072 and i'm not sure if it goes with dextron or gear oil, sure is a nwct5.

Not all T-5's use Dextron/ATF!!
I have a Borg-Warner T-5 PN 1352-028. It uses 80w90 Gear Lube. I believe though, in your case, you should most likely use the ATF, since it's a 85.
The first couple of years GM put T-5's in, they needed gear lube. (83-84 models). If I used ATF in mine, the synchos would eat themselves in no time at all.
