posi or peg leg

i had my rear in the air and i spun the passenger rear tire and the driver tire didnt do anything. does this mean i have a peg leg rear? or could i have a posi that is broken?

either or.....regaurdless, you have alot to gain by installing a new posi unit.

only way to know what you have is to pull the rear cover and look. for some reason that's always the last thing people want to do. usually they post on here and get a dozen differant answers about spinning wheels, codes and such. no one want's to jack the car up get under it and pull the cover and you'll know the gear ratio too.

thanks ede. but if im gonna be pulling the cover off, might as well slip a 3.73 posi in.

only if the car has never been modded or repaired...people like myself love to change things in these cars...do as Ede says and get under there..there is alot more to swapping a rearend than pulling the inspection plate.....
