Car: 1992 Camaro RS
Engine: Yet another 350 TPI
Transmission: Borg Warner 6 spd
Axle/Gears: 3.73
Jags that run used to sell a $300 conversion kit, plus I think you needed to get the transmission housing machined to install it. I think they discontinued it though. Check the classifieds, I think I saw someone selling the kit a few days ago.

I could have sworn that the aftermarket T56's could take either the mechanical or the electrical VSS from the T5's. Is there a difference between "aftermarket" and "retrofit"? I thought they were the same thing, but I could be wrong . . .

i talked to steve spohn, who will be selling me the tranny, and he said the electric speedo runs off the VSS. So thats good news. I just have to figure out how to calibrate the thing to work with 3.73's.

VDO sells a part that screws into your trans and converts it to electric I've got the part and # (not with me will post it later) the onlt prob I had is it got in the way of my TH350's torque arm adapter nothing a speedo shop won't be able to fix. BTW it was $50.
