kickdown cable on a th350 changeover
this is for anyone who is swapping a 700r for a 350turbo. you can modify your 700r cable to work on your 350. its not hard to do and it works perfect. i just did it to mine yesterday and although i'm having problems with my trans leaking , the trans shifts fine and the kickdown i made works perfect. i anyonewould like to know how to do this modification, just let me know and i'll provide you with step by step instructions.

Is modification needed because they are different lengths?
I just swapped a 700r4 for another 700r4 but for some reason the new TV cable does not reach, it is a few inches too short, and I am getting very, very frustrated at this point, to the point of throwing things, so if you can give me some insight on how to just make it freaking work I'd be much obliged, as I really don't feel like changing the cable or dropping the pan and draining the fluid I just put in, or having to lower the tranny any or.....
It's not caught on anything and I can't give it any more of a direct route.... I'm confused.

i would not want to give you advice on a 700r to 700r swap . i'm really not too sure why your cable would be short ,unless one of your trans came from a v-6. and if that is the case , one of the cables you have should fit.i'm sorry , but i'm lost on this , never heard of it.
