Flywheel bolt pattern
im 2 days away from swapping engines in my '82 Z, i need to know if my flywheel is going to bolt up to the crank. Currently i have a LG4 305 with a 4 speed saginaw transmission, all stock. I just replaced the clutch and flywheel and pressure plate and what not about 6,000 miles ago. Clearly i would like to keep the same flywheel. Im pretty sure its a 10.4" flywheel. Now im swapping in a 350 HO which has a '86 + block and a one piece rear main seal. Is my flywheel going to bolt up to the new engine, or do i have to go spend another $ 50 bucks at napa for a new one.
one other thing. If i am able to keep the same flywheel, will i need to replace the starter. I'm not exactly sure the ring gear teeth #, but will the starter from the 305 bolt up to the new block?
I only reason i ask is because this is a daily driver, and it needs to be back on the road as soon as possible. I took monday off work, so hopefully this will all go smoothly over the weekend

No, it will not. You will have to have a different one.
You will need a 12¾" diameter flywheel. The 305 starter will work on the 350 with that flywheel (the one for a 86-up 305 5-speed), if and only if the block has the right inner hole for it; as to that, I have no clue. Be prepared to install the hole, because my instinct is that if you're counting on it being there, it won't be. That would be the story of my life in a nutshell.
