Tailshaft swap
Was curious about this today. Since I'm swaping a TH350 into an 88 GTA with an electric speedo, can't I just swap the tailshaft from the 700 to the 350? What parts would I all need to do this? Also I need to change something since I now have 3.70's in the rear.
Thanks

You need to use a THM 350 that came with a nine inch extension hsg. Usually found in pick-ups. Use the 700-R4 tailhousing along with a 1 1/2 inch thick spacer between the THM case and the 700 tail housing. We've done this conversion many times, Works well.
