Driveshaft Difference ?

Is there a difference in length between the driveshafts that came equiped on 700-R4 cars and T5's? My 84' has a T5, and I am switching over to TH350. I have two TH350's one short, and one long. I have been reading all morning, from several sites, and still don't have a definitive answer. Does anyone know for sure if my T5 driveshaft will work with either length TH350?

Thanks....

Still looking. Guess it'll come down to making a driveshaft if necessary.

The T5 and 700R4 driveshaft are the same length. If you get a th350 transmission with a 9 inch tail stock (which would be the long one you have) you can use the t5/700r4 driveshaft.
