Clutch master cyl?

Im working on an 88 firebird put in a 2006 GTOLS2 and T56 6 speed I have the throwout bearing and clutch setup but does anybody know for sure what clutch master cylinder to use? Can I use the stock one ( car had a T5) I got the GTO master but I cant see a way to make it work the rod is to short to reach the pedal and its all plastic so I cant weld a longer one on.The only issue I see with the stock one is the plastic line it uses but I can convert that to a stainless flexible one.Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks
Steve.

Not realy sure how the GTO hydros work but the 93-97 lt1 cars use a stainless line that is flexable and is a few inches longer . Works just like stock hydros in third gen cars .

If all else failed, Mcleod makes an adjustable master cylinder that has a clevis that you can adjust out pretty far.
