Ok so i want to put a aluminum driveshaft in my camaro and i was wondering if the 4ht gens had them or what other cars had them. That would fix in a thirdgen camaro.

Re: Driveshaft
yes 4th gen drive shafts fit in perfectly, just replace the u-joints for some cheap insurance.

Re: Driveshaft
The LS1 shafts are the best of the GM aluminums, but won't take much over 400HP at the wheels for long.
If you need something better, contact PST driveshafts. I have a 3.5" aluminum with 1330x3R solid cryo joints that will take lots of abuse. Should be under $400 shipped.

Re: Driveshaft
just price everything before you buy. i would suggest getting the used 4th gen driveshaft balanced and new u joints. take that total price and compare it to 400 bucks. I'm sure it's pretty close.
