Engine: 357 t88 turbo motor
Transmission: Powerglide
Axle/Gears: 3.55
how far can i push my 7.5" rear? with turbo
hey guys if im building my camaro for street/ drag racing, how fast do you think i can go on the stock rear. with a aftermarket locker, and stronger axles?
3:42 richmond gear.
th 400
i want to leave on the foot and slowly come into boost for now. just so i can get it on the road and driving.
i can detune it to get arround 700 whp. proably.
i want to run low 10s. on et street tires

You're rolling the dice. I pushed a beefed up 10 bolt into the low 11's with no problems. No matter what you do to try and make it stronger, it will still have a tiny ring and pinion.
If you have enough money to build a high HP engine, spend more money to upgrade the rest of the stock driveline to handle the power.

700hp? i broke mine with 400 ft/lb of torque and drag radials. replaced it with a 12 bolt

Yes, but he won't be hitting his rear end with 400ftlbs of torque off the line.
His turbo will put power on much slower then a blower/nitrous so it'll live longer. However 700HP is still nothing to sneeze at. if you have a big stall speed a sticky tires you'll probably blow it to smithereens.

i just wanted to hurry it up and get some run time this year.
then convert over the winter.
i just dont want to put much moneyinto it.
