t5 launches
How do you t5'ers prepare and do a good clean launch with stock clutch and flywheel(although my flywheel was $$$ because I had to fit to a 10.5inch clutch with a 2 piece rms...id assume thats concidered stock)

Re: t5 launches
uh basically he means bringing it up to 5K with the clutch in and then moving your foot off the side of the pedal, IE sidestep.. if you have grippy tires dont ever do this with a T5.. I usually bring it up to around 3500-4000 and just feather it out, yea not so good on the clutch but id rather pay 100 bux for a clutch than 500-1500 for another T5..

Re: t5 launches
I have a stock flywheel and a heavy duty napa truck clutch. Since my car makes a ton of low end torque and not much above 4500 I bring the revs up to about 2200 and slip the clutch while laying into the gas just enough to keep the motor from bogging. I've been cutting roughly 2.0 or 1.9 60 foots with street tires, turning a mid to low 13 over all

Re: t5 launches
A good and safe launch would be rev up to 3k ease the clutch out 1/2 way (when the car just starts to move ) pop the clutch the rest of the way, and put your gas pedal down.when theres pinks on the line I still use this launch, the next doesnt do crap for any parts, I hold the gas to the floor and still clutch but pop it up , all the way to 4th
