Clutch Recommendation?

I have a 85 Z28 with a 305 Carb. 5 Speed. I am doing a engine swap next week and was wondering what Clutch I should get. I am putting in a GM Goodwrench Crate Engine with about 46,000 on it and I know my clutch is wearing out in my car right now. So I was going to replace it with a stronger one.
Looking at summit for a clutch with a throwout bearing for either street or street/strip. Any recommendations on what I should go with?

Re: Clutch Recommendation?

Centerforce Dual Friction is my choice. Stock pedal feel and takes the 400 ft LBS my motor forces to it.

Re: Clutch Recommendation?

Now I would get one specific for my car right?

McLeod Industries 75125 - What about this one?

Centerforce DF161056 - Or this one?

The Centerforce doesn't come with a throwout bearing which is about 35 Dollars, but I haven't heard anything about McLeod at all.

Re: Clutch Recommendation?

I use a CenterForce II. There are a number of possibilites out there, enough so that you may get a half dozen different recommendations. In the end, any of the choices will probably satisfy you.
