T5 Speedo

T5 has a mechanical speedo, car has an electronic speedo.

CAn i just get an electronic speedo bullet and change it out for the one in the T5?

My rear gear is the most common one (3.42) so it shouldnt be a problem to find one that works.

Re: T5 Speedo

Yes you can, if u search this site people have the gm part number, napa part number is vss218, just bought one. As far as the speedo gear, it all depends on the drive gear that is in the trans. I was at a dealership parts department this afternoon chatting with the guy, the trans I have originally was installed in an 89 Camaro (cable speedo) with 3.08 gearing and that is causing me a little trouble finding a driven gear because supposedly the drive gear for a 3.08 are specific to that one ratio.

Good Luck
