90 camaro, 9 bolt or 10 bolt?

I don't feel like ripping apart my rear end, anyone know if a 90 camaro rs has a 9 or 10 bolt? Trying to buy some 4.10's for it, thanx.

Factory stock for the RS was the 10-bolt unless someone changed it out.

99% likely a 10-bolt, but after 20+- years, there is no guarantee your car hasn't changed. Never assume anything.

Look under the back of the car, at the rear end cover. 10 bolt heads = a 10 bolt

9 bolt heads = a......Can you guess? A NINE bolt!

You don't have to take it apart, just count the bolts in the cover. The 9 bolt has a rubber fill plug in the cover.

I was under the impression that 89 was the last year too. I noted, however, in the 9-bolt FAQ that the author mentions 90.
