Like it says, Im already taking the whole drive trian out of the car when I do the floor pans and 350 swap(got the engine for free).
So, should I or should I not swap in a T-5??
Keep in mind theres nothing wrong with the 700r4

I would say keep it and save up for a t56. I've heard those 5 speeds don't hold up well to alot of power.

The T5 is fine if its stock and you dont beat on it much but with a 350 and a heavy foot it wont live too long. There is a reason that GM only offered the 350 with the 700 lol. As said above keep the 700 in it and save up for a t56 or a TKO. You will be glad u did.
