T56 Swap on a Gen1 motor

I just got ahold of a T56 from a 1995 TransAm, and I've been reading around and have been finding a lot of mixed information. So could someone please give me a list of what I need to complete this swap? If I understand correctly 1986 was a mechanical speedo. I know I need a new crossmember, but am unsure on the rest. My car is a 1986 Trans Am, TPI used to be a automatic, but i swapped to a T5, and now swapping to a T56

Re: T56 Swap on a Gen1 motor

read the sticky above. it is long but it is very good for describing an LT model t-56 swap.
