What kind of gears do I have?

My car is missing the codes in the glove compartment since I got it. It does have a posi diffferential as I saw the little plate saying it. It has 4 wheel disc brakes too and a WS6 suspension. It has 9 bolts. So, how can I know what ratio gears does it have? Thanks in advance.

The best way is to drop the diff cover and take a peek. The following from the FAQ section may provide some useful info:

85-90 9 bolt equipped f-bodies were available with either standard open differentials or limited slip versions as well as several different ratios including: 2.77, 3.08, 3.27 (G92 w/auto), 3.45 (G92 w/stick), and a few 3.70 ratio's came in some 85 & 86 Firebird's w/L69, stick & G92=Very Rare!

Thanks James, I'll check that way then. I was hoping for some codes on the outside or something. But that's good I guess, that way I get to change the differential oil too.
