Been done, you need the bell from a V8 3rd gen and you can use a clutch from some odd ball chevy truck to mate the V6 splined input shaft to a V8 sized flywheel/pressure plate.
You can also send the old V6 clutch plate in and have the V8 disc riveted to it.
I read this in a post some time ago and am looking for it now cause I have the chance to piece this together.

ok dont mean to steel this post but would a v8 t5 work on a v6 and would a th700r4 bell fit on the t5 same q about a t56 i have a 700r4 now but im a stick guy
