Car: 88 Sportcoupe camaro
Engine: forged 355
Transmission: th350
bad valve body same results of a misadjusted tv cable??
I guy on a local forum is giving me a 700r4 that he took out of his iroc. The trans was rebuilt a few years ago but it started acting like the tv cable wasn't adjusted right although it was. It would take about 10 secs to shift but would downshift fine and when it was in gear it would pull fine. This guy knows his cars and i'm 100% he had the tv cable adjusted right. Could it be the valve body? I'm going to get the trans reguardless but I just wanted some opinions if that could be the prob.

Not sure, not really sure what a throttle valve is. I'm going to take it apart when I get it, i'm just not going too deep. I've built engines but transmissions are a whole diff. level for me.
