Hi,

This is my third week with a flat & continous uuuuuuuuuuu noise caming from my "powertrain" in my V6. I disconnected the pulleys pulling off the dirve belt and the noise wasa the same (no alternator, no pw st. pump, a/c, etc.). When I acelerate, the noise go out. When I pull off the foot from ac. pedal, the noise came again. At idle: the noise is present @ Park & Neutral only (engine running, vehicle stopped).

The idle is good, the oil is good (no methalic particles), the ATF is good, the power is good, all is good minus my headache with this topic.

The noise is like a big furniture making noise against a wooden floor or a big bus or truck with old brakes.


I suspect of camshaft, torque conv., or complete tranny.


Please help with any idea.
