Engine: 350ci
Transmission: Th350
Axle/Gears: 3.73
4th gen carrier in 3rd gen

Will it fit? I have 1992 z28 I read somewhere that the carrier out of fourth gen US spec (ring and pinion along with the torsen ) will fit a US spec 3rd gen rearend both share 28 spline shafts Im having problem with the stock posi and 3.73 want to go with stock 3.23 but better carrier

All of the LT1 cars had the same Auburn differential that you have now. The LS1 cars got the Torsen, and yes, it will fit. You still must set the pinion depth, bearing preload and backlash when changing gears.

I put a torsen unit in my 84, shop set it up, havne't had any difficulties in over 2 years.

I have found two rear ends one with 3.23 and the other 3.42 will get them both
