I was wondering how hard they are to install and if they make a noticeable difference at all. Also are the mounts different between the V6 and V8? As far as my understanding goes they should be the same considering they share transmissions. Thanks!

They are of a universal design and are pretty easy to install. You may have to widen the slot on the crossmember for two of the bolts. There really is no noticeable difference (real or perceived) except that it won't need replacing ever again.

I didn't have to widen any holes, put it on in '97, no problems. I went through 2 stock mounts in 3 years, so the poly was well worth it.

Same opinion as above. I did have to widen the holes on the x-member a few thousandths tho.
