Quick distributer and coil question
Do the V6 distributers and coils coincide with the V8 distributers and coils? Do they use the same wiring? I'm looking for the wire that goes from the distributer (2 connector) to the remote coil for an 87 V8. Do the 87 and up V6's have this? Need to get this from a parts yard thats short on V8's but has a ****e load of V6's.

Transmission: 700R4
Yep, same deal, youll find it on 2.8 MPFI motors starting in '85. We got the remote coil HEI 2 years before you V8 guys did
