Hey Nix, come to Gainesville speedway for Test and Tune (when it opens again - the 18th, I believe) on Wednesday. $10, IIRC, and you run all night.
I'll take my 2.8 against you

Car: 95 E-150 & 07 Kawasaki ZX-6R
Engine: A slow one & a fast one
Transmission: A bad one & a good one
Axle/Gears: A weak one & a chained one
I'll eventually drive up and race one of you...but like I said, when I'm out of school! Hey, how about one of YOU meet me at Orlando Speedway?? And I'll take on either one of ya...I've got faith in my little 3.1... Just let me get my water pump on first...that'd be embarassing to blow it in the middle of a race. As if the squealing isn't embarassment enough as it is.

Alright then...all I wanted to know. Never seen that expression used anywhere online here, just on this board, and I've been trying to figure it out. I know btw, fyi, asap, etc....but not iirc...
Talk about a tongue twister there!
By the way Doward....I know I'm capable of slightly quicker than a 16.48 because the trap speed is more matching of a 16.2 or so...I had big time tirespin on my old 'racing slick' when that was done....got brand new Sigma Supremes on now. Although you know, I don't know what was different about my launch surface, or what the hell I did, but when I ran the 8.28 0-60 I managed to link right up with no traction loss whatsoever...I even had engine rpms raised...by how much, I don't know..no tach. Hooked right up, so I'm not gonna be running any quicker than that.
So once again...bring it on.. Only cars I have to race around here are a Saturn, who could become some competition again once his engine/tranny are done being rebuilt and his exhaust goes in, which will be in about 1-2 weeks. And...a 65 Mustang with a 289.....uhh, no.....tired of losing to him! I just make fun of him cause he's got a nasty valve problem on one side of the engine, and he keeps blowing head gaskets over and over..he's gone through 3 sets so far.

Hey, when you guys meet up at Savannah, let me know. I'm only a couple hours away, In Charleston, SC. Theres a 1/8 mile strip up here called the Cooper River Race Track, but I never ran my car. We should have a southeastern 3rd Gen V6 meeting down here somewhere. I'll come, if I ever get my car running.
