code 23, 33, and 42!
So last week I was messing with my air intake, and I know my MAT sensor is messed up, so i was not surprised when the SES light lit up the next day, and it turned out to be a CODE 23 (MAT sensor low temp. fault). well, since no one seems to stock those things, i've been driving it to work daily and every day when it warms up the SES lights up. Well today i finally pulled the codes again, just in case, and now it shows the 23, but also a CODE 33 (MAP sensor voltage low--pressure low/voltage high), and a CODE 42 (EST circuit grounded [HEI module failure]).
So could the MAT sesor have caused the other two? what exactly does all this low temp this and voltage that mean?/? what should i check or replace??
thanks,
EVAN
