well guys i've had a cold start problem with my car for a while now, the cars been sitting for about a month cus i screwed up my back and can't drive stick right now. i went out yesterday and bought a new pcv valve, threw it in and started her up today. first crank fired right up, didn't have to pump the gas or anything.

change your pcv valve it cost me 2 bucks it'll be the best thing you can do to start eliminating the problems

c'mon brobert, you should know that fuel injection doesn't solve all problems it's actually not particularlly uncommon for people w/ FI cars to pump the gas trying to get them to fire up....it's not the correct way to do it, and if the cars are running propperly then you won't have to, but when my ICM went out, i could still get her to start if i kept it floored, then had to stay on the gas to keep it running, once my foot came off, car went dead...time and time again, till eventually crank all day, no start all night.
