looking for a intake

I have a 2.8 and swapping out for a 93 3.4, I have done this swap before into a S10, but I had the Throttle body instead of the carb, this swap is only to get the car driveable until my V8 is complete..

Its an 83 with a 2.8 thats carbed, I do not wanna spend a **** load on a new intake, and was wondering if the carb that comes on it is worth the rebuild or should I grab a 2 barrel holley and be done with it?

I missed out on a 4 barrel edelbrock on ebay that would have worked the best, but I just wanna get the car driveable.

if I could trade my 3.4 for a 350 I would.

any HELP would be great..

Re: looking for a intake

so your wanting to put the carb intake on the 3.4? you'd be better off just selling the 3.4 and getting your 350... you can get a 350 from almost any salvage yard for like 300 bucks. hell, had you been here a year ago, i'd have traded you my 350 for your 3.4 already had a 4 barrle and intake, cam, pistons, every thing but trans.

You may want to honestly sell the whole car and get one with a V8 in it already.. alot less work

Re: looking for a intake

If you're going to do the v8 swap save your cash, or just get something with a v8 already. You can make decent power with these v6's, might want to do some research on it. www.60degreev6.com is a great place to start.
