Stalling at speed... three codes in one shot...

Like the title says, my camaro is not necessarily stalling, but just all out dying at speed. the problem showed up saturday. The car has the 2.8L V6 in it. I was in the process of moving from one house to the other, car full of all my belongings, and she dies at a stop sign. no biggy, she's stalled before like that on a hot day. she starts right up and i go to take off. she stutters and loses power bad. so i keep on goin till i get to my destination with the car dying at 40 mph and such the whole way there. i unloaded all my stuff and let the motor cool off for a couple hours. before taking off i decided to check the damage codes and got a code 13, a code 32, and a code 34. Code 13 makes no sense seeing as the o2 sensor is brand new. wire is plugged in nothing has been pulled loose the sensor looks good. Code 32 is a problem i've been having for a while but its intermittent and i havent the slightest about what could be causing it. and code 34 is really odd too because the map sensor is also brand new and everything looks fine in that area. So after evaluating the presented codes and scratching my head for a bit i decide to head home. on the way there she died completely and wouldnt start. I've attributed the issue to the hot weather causing the car to kinda freak out, but that doesnt explain why the car only acts like this at running temp not cold. What could the source of the issue be? I've never seen a car throw three codes at once, and this one has got me confused. I'm going to check to fuel filter today to see if just by chance that's the issue, but that still doesnt explain why the car threw those codes. any help would be great!

(sorry for the rant. just a weird situation)

a code 34 on an 89 and earlier is a MAF not a MAP. so unless you made a typo i would check your MAF i sent you a PM on how to do so if you did not get itmessage me back

Re: Stalling at speed... three codes in one shot...

alright, after much thought and talkin with a few other people around my town, i decided to do the following:

Check the cat for blockage, and if so clear it out.
Check the MAF and see if its even reading.
Check the EGR diaphragm for proper movement and blockage.
Change the fuel filter and air filters.

So I got under the car and got the cat off, and low and behold! The darn thing was hollowed out. With it cut off the exhaust I figured f*** it and put a test pipe in. I then tested the MAF and there was absolutely no improvement without it plugged in. The car ran the same. So I replaced the MAF and things seem to be working a bit better. I checked the EGR and the diaphragm moves with ease and has no blockage as far as I could see. Changed the fuel filter and air filters also. But the problem still exists, except she dies without spitting damage codes. A friend said perhaps the fuel pump is killing itself whenever it gets warmed up because she only dies after EITHER reaching running temperature AND/OR starting and stopping the motor repeatedly (as in going to the grocer store coming out, taking off pushing on the throttle and chokes out). Again, she's not throwing any damage codes. I'm kind of thinking that the ECU is still learning this new MAF and having to adjust to such, and I'm waiting to fill the tank and run some Lucas through her to see if that helps any. I really don't want to have to replace the fuel pump seeing as thats an $85 part from Oreillys. Any ideas will be seriously considered and looked into. This is my DD so its kind of urgent with a new semester of school starting on Tuesday for me. Thanks again.

Re: Stalling at speed... three codes in one shot...

I tested the new MAF today, and the car perked up a bit without it plugged in. I'm kind of starting to think this is a timing issue. I know for sure the MAF was bad to begin with as I had received that same code just a year ago and never replaced the MAF till now. What are some of your opinions? The car still stutters when i go wide open throttle and she doesn't idle in park or drive. Occasionally when she's cold and I'm driving down the road I get an intake backfire. It's not consistent but the backfire is there. I've replaced more than a handful of emissions parts and sensors in the past year and a half I've had the car, and also timed her with non-working parts feeding the ECU its data. Now that I've replaced the last of the parts that seemed to be bad, should I re-time her? I live in NM. Anyone have a certain timing they like for this altitude? Thanks again guys.

Re: Stalling at speed... three codes in one shot...

I got her timed and running solid. WARNING: The haynes manual's firing order diagram for the V6 is off. I had to move each spark plug wire one pin clockwise to get the proper firing order. But she's still dying randomly as soon as the motor hits just below 220 degrees. This has got me stumped. I've got a feeling its fuel pump, but then again there's a hell of a mess (thanks to the previous owner) in the ignition system's wiring harness. Again, any ideas or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
