I paid $30 w/tax for a hand held scanner w/code busting book, with tips how to repair or understand what you are attempting to do.
Overpaid?
Maybe.
But, it did help me understand what I had going on with ecms & such.
It's an "Actron" Brand from Autozone.

Long flash of the check engine light = 10
short flash = 1
right?

yea, you got it. for every long flash go up ten....10, 20, 30.....and every short flash add 1 to the previous numner, 11, 21, 31....etc....then check the haynes reference chart and see whatcha got
